Veteran Banking and Real Estate Attorney John Faber Joins Williams Mullen
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that John Faber has joined the firm’s Finance & Real Estate practice. He will be based out of the Virginia Beach office. Mr. Faber has more than 27 years of experience representing state, regional and national commercial banks and insurance companies in commercial real estate development, construction, refinancing and permanent loans. Mr. Faber will work heavily with the firm’s banking clients in commercial real estate matters and asset-based financing, and he brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and relationships in that arena.

In addition to his banking industry experience, Mr. Faber represents clients ranging from local and national real estate developers and investors, to owner/operators, to individual owners in all phases of a commercial real estate transaction, including site selection, property due diligence investigations, land use approvals and permitting, acquisition, development, construction, leasing, stabilization and sale.
Mr. Faber has been named among Virginia’s “Legal Elite” by Virginia Business magazine (2015-present). He also authors the monthly “Legal Corner” column in the Hampton Roads REALTOR magazine. Mr. Faber earned his Juris Doctor degree from the William & Mary Law School, and he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada-Reno.
