On Dec. 12, 2019, Shelly Harris gave a presentation to the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, entitled “Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Technology: What Life Insurance and Estate Planning Professionals Need to Know.”
The presentation provided an overview of what blockchain technology is, how it is used as a platform for cryptocurrency, and how both blockchain and cryptocurrency are affecting the estate planning and life insurance industries.
