Healthcare Heroes and Immunity: A Look at COVID Healthcare Litigation Online Webinar

Elizabeth Scott will be part of a panel that will take a look at COVID healthcare litigation in an online webinar. The group will provide a brief introduction to applicable immunity statutes; resources and practical strategies for a motion to dismiss; status of efforts to remove to federal court under the PREP Act; and alternative approaches, including injunctive relief, used by the plaintiff’s bar. The event is being organized by the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
