2021 Williams Mullen Community Impact Award Presented to George Wythe Girls Volleyball

Williams Mullen was honored to present its annual Community Impact award to the George Wythe girls volleyball team at the Scholar Athlete Awards Program hosted virtually by the Richmond Times-Dispatch and Sports Backers. This award celebrates and honors a local high school sports team that improves its community through volunteerism, fundraising or other altruistic activities.

Despite being unable to play this season, the George Wythe girls volleyball team rallied around their community by sponsoring a turkey dinner giveaway at Thanksgiving; delivering personal protective equipment to a senior citizen facility; packing school supply bags and delivering Chromebooks to students’ homes; as well as picking up litter, among other things. Williams Mullen is proud to support these young women and all that they have given back to their community. Special thanks to Meredith Haynes for presenting the Williams Mullen Community Impact award to this deserving group.
