Andrea Harlow Named to 2023 Class of ‘Influential Women of Law’ by Virginia Lawyers Weekly
Andrea J. Harlow has been named to the 2023 class of “Influential Women of Law” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. The award program honors women attorneys and judges for their work on behalf of clients, their commitment to their communities and their service to the profession. The honorees will be celebrated during a recognition program on May 23.
Harlow is a partner in the Financial Services and Real Estate Section at Williams Mullen and serves as chair of the firm’s banking working group. She works closely with financial institutions ranging from national banks to regional and community banks, to private and non-traditional lenders. She has experience handling a wide variety of financing arrangements including commercial real estate loans, development loans, construction loans and asset-based loans.
From 2019-2022, Harlow served as chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative affinity group which provides professional development opportunities and fosters collaboration among women attorneys. She is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Metro Richmond. She is active in the Richmond Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW Richmond) and served on the organization's board of directors for five consecutive years.
Harlow received her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.
