Attorney Cameron Rountree Returns from One-Year Navy Reserve Mobilization to East Africa

Williams Mullen proudly welcomes back Cameron Rountree after a one-year mobilization as a member of the Navy Reserve serving in the Horn of Africa. From March 2016 to March 2017, Cameron was assigned as the Director of Future Operations and Crisis Action Planning for the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa headquartered at Camp Lemonnier in the Republic of Djibouti.

Among other accomplishments, during his mobilization, the command coordinated the initial Department of Defense response to a State Department request for diplomatic security assistance amid renewed conflict in Juba, South Sudan. His efforts earned him the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Joint Service Achievement Medal, among other unit and campaign awards.
