David Burton Crowned King Neptune XLV for Annual Neptune Festival
On April 14, 2018, David Burton was officially crowned King Neptune XLV for the upcoming 45th Annual Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach. In addition to honoring the long-standing tradition of growing a beard, David will serve as a ceremonial leader and goodwill ambassador for the city during the Neptune Festival, which culminates with the Boardwalk Weekend Sept. 28-30. He serves as a member of the board of directors of the Neptune Festival, as well as a member of its Executive Committee. In 2017, the Neptune Festival awarded David with the John J.
