Jim Burns was quoted in a HealthCare Dive article regarding the introduction of the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Justice and HHS’ release of a portal where anyone can submit a complaint for antitrust agencies to review and potentially investigate if the complaint merits it. The portal’s aim is to ensure health care companies provide quality care, that workers are paid fairly and look into potential anticompetitive practices in health care.

The regulators often state that tips from the public have led to many of their most significant investigations,” said Jim Burns. “I would not minimize for a minute the potential value of this.”
