Kevin Pomfret Speaks Before Congress on Commercial Remote Sensing Satellite Regulation

On Wed. Sept 7, Kevin Pomfret presented before the Committee on Science, Space and Technology in the U.S. House of Representatives on Commercial Remote Sensing: Facilitating Innovation and Leadership. Specifically, Kevin discussed whether the Land Remote Sensing Act of 1992 should be updated, particularly those sections pertaining to the licensing of commercial remote sensing satellites by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
