Litigation Attorney John Holton Joins Williams Mullen
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that John Holton has joined the firm as a Litigation associate in the firm’s Raleigh office. Mr. Holton represents businesses in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial, business and real estate litigation. John also represents those in the construction industry, including owners, contractors and subcontractors, in a variety of construction litigation matters. He has handled cases before state, federal and administrative courts in North Carolina and South Carolina.
“John adds more depth to our talented group of litigators in North Carolina,” Carolinas Managing Partner David Paulson said. “Given his experience representing clients in courts in North and South Carolina, we’re confident he’ll be a versatile, capable litigator for clients throughout the region.”
Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Holton spent years defending businesses, professionals and organizations in tort and contract litigation. He has experience in all aspects of civil litigation, from pre-suit investigations to trials to handling post-verdict appeals.
Active in the community, Mr. Holton is a board member of El Futuro, a nonprofit that provides mental health and substance abuse services to Latino families in central North Carolina, and the Caris Foundation, a nonprofit that works to aid and empower impoverished people. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina.
