Lobbyist Sarah Patterson Joins Williams Mullen’s North Carolina Government Relations Team
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Sarah Patterson has joined the firm’s North Carolina Government Relations practice as a government relations manager*. She will be based in the firm’s Raleigh office. Ms. Patterson joins Williams Mullen after working as a registered lobbyist for the South Carolina Association of REALTORS® in Columbia, S.C. She will provide advocacy, lobbying and government relations services for companies and organizations before North Carolina’s General Assembly and state executive agencies.

While working as a lobbyist for the South Carolina Association of REALTORS®, Ms. Patterson directed lobbying activities, primarily focused on real estate issues, on behalf of the organization before the South Carolina General Assembly, state agencies and business coalitions. She has also worked as a legislative and political affairs assistant at the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) in Arlington, Va.
Ms. Patterson joins Williams Mullen’s North Carolina Government Relations team, which includes Rick Zechini, a North Carolina lobbyist with more than 15 years’ experience, and Chuck Neely, a former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives.
“Sarah is a talented individual with impressive experience and a results-oriented approach,” Zechini said. “We’re excited about her addition to the team, and I’m confident she’ll be a significant resource for our clients who seek government affairs solutions for their issues and concerns.”
Ms. Patterson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College.
