Marc Purintun Named to 2024 Class of “Leaders in the Law” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly
Marc Purintun, partner and chair of Williams Mullen’s Chambers-ranked Employee Benefits Practice, has been named to the 2024 class of “Leaders in the Law” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Purintun is one of 27 Virginia attorneys being honored for their contributions to the practice of law.
Having practiced law for more than 24 years, Purintun focuses on the design and implementation of all types of employee benefit programs, including qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, incentive plans, as well as a variety of welfare benefit arrangements.
Since joining the firm in 2015, Purintun has been a leader of the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts, serving on its Diversity & Inclusion Committee and chairing its LGBTQ+ Initiative. With his leadership and efforts in shaping strategy and policy, Williams Mullen received a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index six consecutive times.
Purintun currently serves as treasurer and a director of the Virginia Equality Bar Association and as a board member of Family Lifeline.
