Wes Camden and Caitlin Poe Strengthen Williams Mullen’s White Collar Practice
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Wes Camden and Caitlin Poe have joined the firm as a partner and an associate, respectively. Both come to Williams Mullen after working at Ward & Smith. Mr. Camden and Ms. Poe are white collar and litigation attorneys who help businesses and individuals respond to government investigations or criminal prosecutions.
Mr. Camden, who served as an assistant U.S. attorney for three years before entering private practice, and Ms. Poe strengthen the firm’s White Collar & Investigations Practice, which includes partners Chuck James, Patrick Hanes and Camden Webb, among others. The team has collectively tried hundreds of cases to verdict and represents clients in federal district and appellate courts throughout the United States, in numerous state courts, and before federal and state agencies.
“Wes and Caitlin are great additions to our white collar team,” Litigation Practice Chair Turner Broughton said. “They bring a great deal of experience helping clients defend against or respond to government investigations. We’re excited to add them to our team.”
Mr. Camden is listed in North Carolina Super Lawyers (2015-2019), which has also named him among the top 100 lawyers in North Carolina (2018-present). He has been named among North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” by Business North Carolina for Criminal Law (2014-present), and, in 2019, he was named to their “Legal Elite Hall of Fame.” He is also listed in The Best Lawyers in America© (2018-present) and was named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America in 2018. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University, and he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Belmont University.
Ms. Poe has been named among North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” for Criminal Law by Business North Carolina (2019-present). She has also been listed in North Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars (2018-present) and named to Benchmark Litigation's 40 and Under Hot List (2018-present). She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Virginia and her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia.
