Williams Mullen Bolsters Construction Practice With Addition of Stephen H. Swart
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Steve Swart has joined the firm as a senior associate with the Construction Practice in Tysons.
Mr. Swart assists owners, contractors, subcontractors and architects in all phases of the construction process, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, dispute resolution, construction litigation, arbitration and mediation.
Mr. Swart regularly represents plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts. He works with clients to resolve issues involving breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and the Administrative Procedure Act. He also has prepared materials about, and represented parties in, mediating civil disputes in federal court.
In addition, he has experience representing members of the Metropolitan Washington real estate community, assisting them in completing sales and leases of property. He has also represented plaintiffs and defendants in commercial loan, landlord-tenant, and purchase-and-sale disputes.
Mr. Swart received his Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law, magna cum laude. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, with high honors, from Pennsylvania State University.
