Williams Mullen Expands Energy Practice with the Addition of Dylan Gillis
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Dylan J. Gillis* has joined the Corporate Section as an associate in the firm’s Tysons office.
Gillis focuses his practice on energy law, including corporate transactions and regulatory matters. His experience includes project development and financing, mergers and acquisitions, and permitting.
Gillis advises clients on an array of transactions, such as asset purchase agreements (APAs), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreements, interconnection agreements, membership interest purchase agreements (MIPAs), offtake agreements, operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements, and power purchase agreements (PPAs). He works closely with a variety of clients, including data centers, developers, investors, lenders, and municipalities, to structure transactions that align with evolving regulatory frameworks while mitigating risks.
Additionally, Gillis represents clients before state regulatory authorities in compliance, permitting, and regulatory matters for the development of renewable energy projects.
Gillis earned his Juris Doctor degree and his Master of Energy Regulation and Law degree from Vermont Law and Graduate School, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stonehill College.
