Williams Mullen Named in Corporate Counsel Magazine’s “Go-To Law Firms®” List for 2014

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that the firm has been named in Corporate Counsel magazine’s 2014 list of recommendations by In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies for Go-To Law Firms®.

To create the list, surveys were sent asking General Counsel at 500 major companies which outside law firms they turned to for assistance. Williams Mullen was named as a “Go-To Law Firm®” in five litigation practice areas: Contracts, Torts, Labor & Employment, Patent Prosecution, and Intellectual Property. Firm clients, including Dollar Tree, the largest single-price-point retailer in the U.S., which is headquartered in Chesapeake, and Universal Health Services, one of the largest and most respected health care management companies in the U.S., nominated Williams Mullen for this recognition.

In-House Law Departments at the Top 500 Companies featuring Go-To Law Firms® incorporates data collected on each company’s primary law firms by surveys sent to General Counsel at each of the top 500 companies and through research in various resources including public records, leading publications and commercial databases such as The American Lawyer, The National Law Journal, Corporate Counsel magazine, and numerous other magazines and newspapers.
