Williams Mullen Names Four Newly Elected Partners
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that the following four attorneys have been elected partner, effective Feb. 1: Justin S. Feinman, Ruth A. Levy, Amish Patel and Amanda M. Weaver.
In Richmond:
Justin S. Feinman represents clients in state and federal courts around the country in a variety of complex litigation matters, including product liability defense, financial services litigation, real estate disputes, construction claims, zoning and local regulatory matters. Feinman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
Amanda M. Weaver advises employers on compliance with various state and federal employment laws and helps guide clients on anti-discrimination laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and Title VII, and similar state anti-discrimination and accommodation laws, including advising clients on compliance with discrimination laws that pertain to the rapidly evolving area of gender identity and transgender/transitioning employees. Weaver earned her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Duke University.
In Columbia:
Ruth A. Levy is a litigator and regulatory attorney focusing on environmental and health care matters in federal, state and administrative courts throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. Levy helps companies and individuals navigate these very different, but highly regulated fields. In the environmental realm, she has defended municipalities, manufacturers and more in various types of environmental litigation: such as CERCLA cost recovery actions, toxic tort defense, products liability multi-district litigation involving environmental contamination, and interbasin transfer disputes. Levy earned her Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
In Raleigh:
Amish Patel works closely with large and middle-market companies and entrepreneurs to provide business and legal counsel on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity fundraising, economic development, and corporate governance issues. He serves as outside general counsel to companies across a broad range of industries, including life sciences, manufacturing, medical device and software-as-a-service (SaaS). Patel earned his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University and his Bachelor of Business Administration from George Washington University.
