Williams Mullen Represents Virginia National Bankshares Corporation in Announced Merger with Fauquier Bankshares, Inc.
On October 1, 2020, Virginia National Bankshares Corporation (Virginia National), the holding company for Virginia National Bank, and Fauquier Bankshares, Inc., the holding company for The Fauquier Bank, jointly announced a strategic merger of equals. The combined company would have approximately $1.6 billion in total assets and $1.0 billion in assets under management based on June 30, 2020 reported amounts.
Scott Richter, Ben McCall, Lee Lester, Nona Massengill, Marie Yascko-Rosado, Conrad Garcia and Anna Derewenda are guiding Virginia National in the merger process.
