Williams Mullen Strengthens Litigation Section in Raleigh with Addition of Shannon Murphy
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Shannon J. Murphy has joined the firm’s Litigation Section as an associate in its Raleigh office.
Murphy focuses her practice on commercial litigation matters, including business disputes and regulatory compliance. She draws on her experience handling concerns in the administrative, state and federal arenas to advise and represent clients at all stages of litigation.
Murphy previously served in the United States Department of Justice Attorney General's Honors Program and clerked for the Honorable Terrence W. Boyle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Murphy earned her Juris Doctor degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law, where she was a member of the moot court team and served as an articles editor for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in political science from the University of Kentucky.
