Williams Mullen Welcomes Tanner Brantley and Ann Nicholson to the Firm
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Tanner N. Brantley and Ann M. Nicholson have joined the firm as associates. Brantley joins the Environment & Natural Resources Practice, and Nicholson joins the Corporate Section. Both attorneys are located in the firm’s Richmond office.
Brantley focuses his practice on environmental laws and regulations and is experienced in assisting clients in complex federal, state, local, and international environmental matters in compliance assistance and litigation contexts. Brantley advises clients in navigating a wide spectrum of environmental regulatory issues and programs, including those under the Toxic Substance Control Act; the Clean Water Act; the Clean Air Act; the National Environmental Protection Act and the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act.
Brantley earned his Juris Doctor degree from Elon University School of Law, his Master of Environmental Law and Policy degree from Vermont Law School, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Morehouse College.
Nicholson joined the firm after earning her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law. She focuses her practice on corporate matters, and she served as a research assistant at the University of Richmond School of Law and as the judicial intern for The Honorable Ashley Tunner at the Richmond Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court before joining the firm.
Nicholson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, and her Master of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia.
