Williams Mullen Welcomes Tax Attorney Daniel Durst
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Daniel Durst has joined our firm as an associate in our Tax Practice. He will be working out of our Richmond office.*
Mr. Durst joins Williams Mullen from Baker Botts LLP in Houston, Texas, where he was an associate for five years, assisting high net worth clients with sophisticated business and estate planning matters. His practice is focused on guiding people through the preparation of wills and trusts, the creation of family limited partnerships and other entities and analysis of related estate tax, gift tax and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. He also assists clients with the preparation of federal gift and estate tax returns and the administration of decedents’ estates.
“Mr. Durst will help us continue to expand our Tax Practice and help our clients with trust and estate planning,” said Farhad Aghdami, Chair of the Tax Practice at Williams Mullen. “We are glad to have him join us.”
Mr. Durst earned his J.D. at the University of Virginia School of Law, where he also served as managing editor of the Virginia Tax Review. He also has a B.A. in History from Brigham Young University.
