Williams Mullen Welcomes Three First-Year Associates
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Megan Italiano, Sara Tandy and Pierce Werner have joined the firm as associates. Ms. Italiano, based in the Virginia Beach, VA office, joins the firm’s Health Care Section, Ms. Tandy, based in the Richmond, VA office, joins the firm’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Section, and Mr. Werner, based in the Columbia, SC office, joins the firm’s Environment & Natural Resources practice.
Ms. Italiano assists health care clients, including hospital systems, long-term care providers and physicians and physician practice groups, with a broad range of health care-related matters. She earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from William & Mary, where she was a member of the William & Mary Law Review’s Editorial Board and the co-founder and president of the William & Mary Health Law and Policy Society. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from the University of San Diego in 2013.
Ms. Tandy advises clients on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including workplace discrimination, fair labor standards, wage and hour issues, family and medical leave policies, wrongful discharge and restrictive covenants. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond, where she was the president of the Virginia Bar Association Law Student Council. She earned a B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005 with a concentration in women’s studies.
Mr. Werner represents businesses and industries in environmental and health and safety matters. He earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina, where he was a senior articles editor of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi’s Honors College in a tailored degree program including biology, environmental studies and political science.
