N.C. Utilities Commission Extends Tranche 1 CPRE RFP Deadline; Schedules Interconnection Standard Hearing

On August 10, 2018, the North Carolina Utilities Commission (the “Commission”) issued an order (the “Order”) extending the response period for Tranche 1 of the Competitive Procurement of Renewable Energy (CPRE) program from September 11, 2018 to October 9, 2018.  The response period was extended to allow time for interested parties to submit comments on the interim procedures that will be used to accommodate, evaluate and select proposals received in response to the Tranche 1 CPRE RFP solicitation.

In addition, pursuant to the Order, the Commission scheduled a hearing on October 22, 2018 regarding the proposed modifications to the North Carolina Interconnection Procedures, Forms and Agreements (referred to as the NC Interconnection Standard).
