Virginia Announces New Initiative to Protect Consumers
On Nov. 21, Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring announced an expansion and reorganization of the state’s Consumer Protection Section, which aims to protect consumers in the Commonwealth from “abusive and illegal business practices.”
This initiative will ramp up Virginia’s enforcement of consumer protection laws, while also providing customer service and consumer education to help protect citizens from exploitative business practices.
