Eileen Setien Jackson
A partner in the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate section, Eileen Jackson, assists clients with single asset and portfolio real estate acquisitions and sales, retail and office leases, easements and financing. She provides strategic legal counsel to clients in the industrial, hospitality, office, retail, and multifamily sectors.
Experienced in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, Eileen guides clients through the complexities of buying, selling, and developing commercial properties, ensuring each transaction is aligned with their strategic objectives. She has extensive experience conducting due diligence, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, and managing the closing process.
Eileen serves on real estate transaction teams assisting national REITs, institutional investors, privately held companies and publicly traded investment firms, in the acquisition and sale of real estate-related assets throughout the United States. Key asset classes include office, retail, industrial/logistics, multi-family housing, hospitality and mixed use.
Eileen negotiates and drafts a wide array of lease agreements. Her practice includes landlord representation, tenant representation, ground leases and sale-leasebacks. She provides tailored legal solutions for various property types, including office buildings, retail, industrial, shopping centers, and mixed-use developments.

Eileen is a member of the Class of 2025 for Leadership Metro Richmond. She is also the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity, and she is the Treasurer for the Virginia chapter of Urban Land Institute.
Eileen graduated with her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the College of William & Mary School of Law in 2014, where she served as editor-in-chief of the William and Mary Business Law Review and was active in Student Legal Services, the Women’s Law Society and the Business Law Society. She interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. as well as at the City of Richmond Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. She also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from the College of William and Mary in 2011.
