He is a former general counsel to the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the boards of directors and executive committees of numerous civic organizations.
Before joining the firm, he served for two years as a law clerk to the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Before law school, Gib was a licensed real estate broker with experience in construction, development, sales, finance and general business matters.
Gib earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Southern Maine and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Wake Forest University School of Law.
