Keith Kapp Receives John B. McMillan Distinguished Service Award from the North Carolina State Bar
Williams Mullen proudly congratulates attorney Keith Kapp for recently receiving the North Carolina State Bar’s John B. McMillan Distinguished Service award. The annual award recognizes current and retired members of the North Carolina State Bar throughout the state who have demonstrated exemplary service to the legal profession.
In addition to representing businesses ranging from multi-national to private or family-owned enterprises in connection with their commercial litigation and regulatory needs, Keith has long been involved in the community. Since earning his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina in 1979, he has served in leadership roles for numerous organizations in the state. He is a former president of the North Carolina State Bar and the Wake County Bar Association, and he served as chair of the North Carolina State Bar Ethics Committee and Facilities Committee. He also served on the North Carolina Bar Association’s Board of Governors and was a founding director of North Carolina Lawyers for the Arts.
Keith also formerly served as the president of the Raleigh Executives Club and the Raleigh Little Theatre. In 2011, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Raleigh program recognized his decades-long commitment to community service by inducting him into their Leadership Raleigh Hall of Fame.
