Speaker Pollard was quoted in a NewsBreak article that referenced the firm's latest solar webinar, "Environmental Considerations When Acquiring or Permitting Utility-Scale Solar Projects in Virginia."

The NewsBreak article, "Youngkin administration sets stricter runoff rules for solar farms," shared some of Speaker's thoughts from the webinar regarding the treatment of solar panels as equivalent to impervious surfaces. He stated the below:

[The impervious classification] “doesn’t seem to account for probably what’s happening literally on the ground as the rainfall falls off the panels and hits what’s usually a pasture or low-growth turf."
