Williams Mullen Announces New Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Billie Jo Brooks has been promoted to Chief Administrative Officer and Brett Harn has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Both are based in the firm’s Richmond office.*

Ms. Brooks will oversee office administration, information technology, facilities management, records and research services. She will be working closely with executive officers and firm directors to ensure efficient support levels and to develop and facilitate best practices and improve effectiveness in the administrative processes.
Throughout her 25+ year career with Williams Mullen, Ms. Brooks has served in a variety of leadership roles, including as director of technology and information services, director of knowledge management and director of library services. She is a member of the Association of Legal Administrators, the International Legal Technology Association and the Virginia Association of Law Libraries.
Mr. Harn will be responsible for the firm’s financial operations and overseeing daily accounting functions, compliance, regulatory requirements and the preparation of financial reports and analyses. With more than 24 years of experience in a broad range of accounting and finance functions, particularly in the legal industry, he will provide strategic leadership in the management, measurement and communication of the firm’s financial goals and position.
During his career, Mr. Harn has developed and led strategic initiatives to improve business processes, reporting, and pricing, and has implemented value-added software packages for use by legal and non-legal professionals alike.
