Williams Mullen Attorneys Named 2014 North Carolina Legal Elite
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that the following attorneys have been named to Business North Carolina magazine's 2014 “Legal Elite." Business North Carolina magazine asked lawyers throughout the state to make nominations in 15 practice categories. Six Williams Mullen attorneys in North Carolina were selected. Those selected include:
John D. Burns, Bankruptcy
David Dorton, Real Estate
Gilbert "Gib" C. Laite, III, Construction
Michael C. Lord, Employment Law
Charles Neely, Tax & Estate Planning
Robert Van Arnam, Intellectual Property
Business North Carolina's Legal Elite includes the top lawyers chosen using a statewide ballot sent to every member of the N.C. State Bar living in North Carolina. Each votes for the top practitioner in each category. Voters may not pick themselves, and they may select partners and associates only if they also select lawyers outside the firm in the same categories. The top vote-getter in each category becomes a member of Business North Carolina's Legal Elite Hall of Fame and is ineligible to win again.
