Williams Mullen Bolsters Litigation Section with Addition of Litigator William Homer
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that William J. Homer has joined its Litigation Section as an associate in the firm’s Richmond office.
Homer represents clients in complex commercial litigation and appellate matters. His practice includes various substantive areas, including contract disputes, business torts, class action defense, and construction litigation.
Before joining Williams Mullen, Homer served as an assistant U.S. attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia. There, he managed various aspects of criminal and civil asset forfeiture and related financial investigations and litigation in federal court. Prior to becoming an attorney, Homer served as an active-duty military officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he deployed multiple times in support of combat operations and was awarded two Air Medals for meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.
Homer earned his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he served as an executive board member for the Florida State University Moot Court Team and as the executive editor for the Florida State University Law Review. He also earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Oklahoma State University and his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame.
