Williams Mullen Welcomes Financial Services and Real Estate attorney David C. Hiltebrand
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that David C. Hiltebrand has joined the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate practices as an Associate. He will be working out of the Virginia Beach office.
Mr. Hiltebrand will be assisting with commercial and real estate financing matters, including structured financing, debt restructures, and the documentation of real estate loans. He will also assist with real estate transactions, including the sale and acquisition of commercial property. Mr. Hiltebrand joins Williams Mullen after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Frank J. Santoro in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he gained a valuable perspective on bankruptcy matters. Prior to that, he worked as a contract attorney for Wilson & McIntyre, PLLC, where he drafted and filed a diverse range of complaints and other pleadings and assisted with multiple stages of discovery, including interviewing clients, recruiting an expert witness, preparing deposition questions, drafting interrogatories and requests for documents, and answering discovery requests.
David is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned his Juris Doctor. During his time there, he served as Senior Articles Editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. He also earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
