Williams Mullen Welcomes Four First-Year Associates to the Firm

Williams Mullen announced today that four first-year associates have joined the firm.

Elizabeth Chapman has joined our Financial Services and Real Estate team in the Norfolk office. Before joining the firm, Ms. Chapman was a law clerk for The Honorable Judges Glenn R. Croshaw, A. Bonwill Shockley, and Leslie L. Lilley. In that position, she researched and drafted legal memoranda and conferred with judges and court staff regarding numerous areas of law. Elizabeth earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as an articles editor of the University of Richmond Law Review .She also graduated with a B.A. in History from Virginia Tech.

Christina Crawford Edwards has joined the firm’s Business and Corporate team in the Richmond office. Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Christina was a Summer Law Clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Virginia, where she did extensive research and prepared legal memoranda for Assistant United States Attorneys. She also interned at the Virginia Tech Foundation, researching corporate law ventures for the Foundation. Christina earned her J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as President of the Moot Court Board and Lead Articles Editor for the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest. Christina also has a B.A. in Political Science from Virginia Tech.

Eileen Setien Jackson has joined the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate team in the Richmond office. She earned her J.D. from William and Mary Law School, where she served as Editor in Chief of the William and Mary Business Law Review and was active in Student Legal Services, the Women’s Law Society and the Business Law Society, and was the recipient of the ABA State and Local Government Law Certificate for Excellence in the Courses of Land Use and Local Government Law. She interned at the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. as well as at the City of Richmond Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. She also earned a B.A. in Finance from the College of William and Mary.

Kathleen Vea has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property team in the Virginia Beach office. Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Kathleen completed a clerkship for U.S. District Judge Arenda L. Wright Allen and was a Judicial Research Fellow for U.S. District Judge Mark S. Davis. She also served as a summer legal intern for the Chemical Group of an Intellectual Property focused law firm in D.C. Kathleen earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as President of the Virginia Environmental Law Forum, and as Secretary and Treasurer of the J.B. Moore Society of International Law. She also sat on the Editorial Boards of the Virginia Journal of International Law and the Virginia Environmental Law Journal. Kathleen also earned a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Biochemistry from The College of William and Mary.
