Williams Mullen Welcomes Litigation Attorney Andrea Matt
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Andrea “Andi” Matt has joined the firm’s Litigation practice as an Associate. She will be working with attorneys Dan Brawley, Gib Laite, Kelly Hanley and Tripp Coyne in the Wilmington office.
Ms. Matt focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with emphasis on real estate, construction and land use matters. Before joining Williams Mullen, she was an Associate with the law firm of Marshall & Taylor, PC. She earned her juris doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University, where she participated in the Richard A. Lord Intramural Moot Court Competition and served as the Vice President of the Women in Law student association. While in law school, Ms. Matt interned in the office of the Honorable W. Allen Cobb, Jr., Chief Resident Superior Court Judge in New Hanover County, in the District Attorney’s Office in New Hanover County, and with Marshall & Taylor, PC. She also has a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Ms. Matt is a member of the American Bar Association, the Tenth Judicial District Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
