Williams Mullen Welcomes Susan Brancaccio and Zachary Buckheit to Raleigh Office
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Susan A. Brancaccio has joined the Environment & Natural Resources Practice and Zachary S. Buckheit has joined the firm’s Litigation Section as associates in the firm’s Raleigh office.
Susan A. Brancaccio focuses her practice on environmental matters regarding waste, water, toxic chemicals, CERCLA, and air quality. She assists clients in adhering to and remaining in compliance with environmental laws and regulations to ensure their adept navigation through the regulatory landscape. She also assists clients in commenting on proposed regulations, guidance and legislation that may be relevant to their business sector, day-to-day operations and future goals.
Brancaccio earned her Juris Doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ithaca College.
Zachary S. Buckheit focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, commercial torts cases, and real estate. He also represents clients in cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, unfair and deceptive trade practices, misappropriation of trade secrets, along with members of the firearms industry, including manufacturers, retailers, and government contractors. Before entering private practice, he was an enlisted Infantryman in the United States Army National Guard, a judicial extern for the North Carolina Business Court, and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina.
Buckheit earned his Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
