Williams Mullen Welcomes Tax Associate Bobby Hamlett
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Robert B. Hamlett, Jr. has joined the firm as an Associate in the Tax Law practice. He will be working out of the Richmond office.
Mr. Hamlett assists with a broad array of tax and employee benefits matters. He can advise on the federal and international taxation of business entities, business owners and investors, and provide domestic and international tax planning for businesses and individuals. Mr. Hamlett helps businesses in a wide range of industries with corporate and tax issues including choice of entity issues; formation, acquisition, disposition and liquidation of business entities; corporate reorganizations; like-kind exchanges; foreign tax issues; and federal and state tax disputes.
Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Hamlett worked for Capital One, where he was responsible for drafting and negotiating supplier contracts covering a variety of products and services.
Mr. Hamlett earned his J.D., cum laude, from the Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he was a staff writer for the Washington and Lee Law Review. He also earned a B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Virginia Tech.
