Williams Mullen Welcomes Two New Associates to Richmond Office
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Troy R. Johnson Jr. and Julianne A. Toia have joined the firm in our Richmond office. Johnson joins the Health Care Section, and Toia joins the Private Client & Fiduciary Services Practice.
Johnson represents health care providers and other actors in the health care industry in a range of regulatory and transactional work. He has experience representing health systems and hospitals, along with long-term care facilities and health care providers.
Johnson earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he was vice president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and a member of the Black Law Students Association. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from William & Mary.
Toia advises high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional fiduciaries on complex estate, gift, and income tax planning matters, including tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, business succession planning, charitable giving, the negotiation of premarital agreements, and estate and trust administration.
Toia earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law and a clinic member and pro bono team leader for the Virginia Innocence Project. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from Grinnell College.
