Williams Mullen’s Corporate Section Grows with the Addition of Joseph Makhoul

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Joseph B. Makhoul has joined the firm as an associate in its Corporate Section in the Richmond office.

Makhoul focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts for a wide range of companies across various industries.

Before joining Williams Mullen, he served as assistant general counsel for Ocean Network Express (North America), Inc. Makhoul managed and negotiated complex commercial contracts and provided general counsel to aid the organization in realizing its business objectives while mitigating risk in rapidly changing market conditions and regulatory environments.

Makhoul earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
