Joseph B. Makhoul

Joe Makhoul focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts for a wide range of companies across various industries.

Before joining Williams Mullen, Joe served as assistant general counsel for Ocean Network Express (North America), Inc. He managed and negotiated complex commercial contracts and provided general counsel to aid the organization in realizing its business objectives while mitigating risk in rapidly changing market conditions and regulatory environments.   

Joe earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
