Williams Mullen Represents Cox Transportation Services in Acquisition of Texas-Based Freight Transporter
A deal team led by David Lay, Lauren Pennington and Claire Gross represented Cox Transportation Services in its acquisition of OutWest Express. The El Paso, TX-based freight transporter and its two affiliated companies operate a fleet of more than 400 tractors and 1,200 trailers serving a diversified group of more than 300 customers across the retail, medical, manufacturing, automotive and electronics industries. Significant support on the transaction was provided by Amanda Weaver, Anna Derewenda, Philip Delano, Sam Lee, Liz Williamson, Janet Cho, Ken Shevlin, Allison Carlon, George Koliopoulos and Hal Johnson.
