Sara Shariff

Sara Shariff concentrates her practice on the senior housing industry, and more broadly on general corporate matters. She has experience assisting small and mid-size business entities with formation, mergers and acquisitions, purchase agreements, corporate policy development, and contract drafting and negotiation. As a member of the Senior Housing Transactions Team, she focuses specifically on advising her clients regarding the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, including skilled nursing, assisted living and memory care facilities and secured lending for senior care-related transactions.

Sara received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Litigators and where she served with the Special Education Advocacy Clinic. She earned her Certificate in bioethics with a focus in health law from Yale University, receiving the Pollard Prize for best graduate level final research presentation. Sara earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in political science and global studies with a minor in Arabic language.
