Williams Mullen Representing Touchstone Bankshares, Inc. in Merger With First National Corporation
The Williams Mullen team consisting of Ben McCall, Scott Richter, Nona Massengill, Conrad Garcia, Anna Derewenda, Allison Carlon, Philip Delano and Nico Balbontin is representing Touchstone Bankshares, Inc., the parent company of Touchstone Bank and a leading financial services provider in the south-central region of Virginia since 1906, in its merger agreement to First National Corporation, the parent company and bank holding company of First Bank, in an all-stock transaction.
With the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024, the merger aims to combine both community banks, projecting the resulting bank to be the ninth-largest Virginia community bank as ranked by deposits.
