Eight Associates Join Williams Mullen’s Virginia Offices

Williams Mullen is proud to welcome eight associates to the firm, all of whom were graduates of the firm’s Summer Associate Program. Five of the associates are based in Richmond, two in Virginia Beach and one in Norfolk.

E. Garrett Allen, IV has joined our Corporate Section in the Richmond office. Allen focuses his practice on corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and business structuring. He earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where he served as a junior editor of the German Law Journal, and his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Washington and Lee University.

John O. "Jack" Babcock has joined our Real Estate Section in the Richmond office. Babcock represents local, regional, and national clients on complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisition, leasing, development and financing. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.

Emily A. Baker has joined our Corporate Section in the Virginia Beach office. Baker focuses her practice on corporate matters, including corporate governance, entity creation, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, joint ventures and private placements. She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the College of William & Mary School of Law, where she served as the executive editor for the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and was elected vice president of the Student Bar Association, and her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from James Madison University.

Kasey D. Hall has joined our Labor, Employment & Immigration Section in the Richmond office. Hall focuses his practice on labor and employment matters, where he works to keep clients in compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations. Hall earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as the staff editor for the Richmond Law Journal of Law and Technology, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University.

Dana D. Joss has joined our Real Estate Practice in the Norfolk office. Joss focuses her practice on commercial and multifamily real estate transactions, including acquisitions, lending, development, leasing and dispositions. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law, where she served as a notes editor for the William & Mary Business Law Review and the treasurer for the Student Bar Association. Joss earned her Master of Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, and Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Longwood University, where she graduated as co-valedictorian.

Mary T. "Tolly" Maloney has joined our Corporate Section in the Richmond office. Maloney focuses her practice on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiations and business structuring, with an emphasis on the senior housing industry. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she served as the managing editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice, and her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Rhodes College.

Anika M. Rogers has joined our Intellectual Property Section in the Virginia Beach office. Rogers focuses her practice on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights and licensing. She assists clients across a range of industries with trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement and management of IP portfolios. Rogers received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she earned an Intellectual Property Certificate, with distinction. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.

John W. Vantine has joined our Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice in the Richmond office. Vantine focuses his practice on restructuring, workout, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters. John earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as the alumni relations editor for the Journal of Law and Technology and the vice president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Elon University.
